10.59

I am a lil' shocked to see the slip of time and to abide to the good girl's rule -10.59m, I shall quickly do a quick blog.

During lunch, Fyn accompanied me to the old secondhand bookstore at Peace Centre.
It never fails to amaze me how the uncle run his book store(rather big for just a bookshop) and manage to find the books upon request.

Photobucket This is just a SMALL part of how the shop looks like. Pretty cramp and books stacking on top of each other, all over the place. Pretty much feels like you step into some old wizard's library. (I was about to say Harry Potter but I never know what about Harry Potter that is true,so I better keep my mouth shut.)

I requested for Nicholas Sparks' 'The Notebook'. It was a really outta the blue decision which I made up the day before. I remember Fyn telling me she cried when watching 'The Notebook' and since I am watching 'Nights in Rodanthe' tomorrow (Oh~RICHARD GERE!!!! Gere can make me scream even when he is standing next to Lee Hom. Totally my dream type!) , I thought why not be a Nicholas Sparks' momentum fan altogether?

Uncle whizzed his way through the books and like he know where he kept his Sparks' collection, stood at one corner for a while before coming back to me with 3 books in his hand.
No Notebook but instead he gave me 'Message in a bottle', 'Dear John' and 'At first sight'.

I briefly read through the lines and gave 'John' a miss. Since 'message' is a old (and yellowish but I dont mind) book and 'first sight' is pretty good condtion, he charged me $14 in total.

Photobucket I'm gonna cry all over again. I almost wanted to read it but decided to do so only after my current read, which is getting more interesting. (and too ending.)

Has Von's reading virus caught me? Yes and no. Haha. I like to read myself but often am lazy and can't tell which is good or not.
She on the other hand, a hard core romance, literature lover.

Photobucket Finally tired this brown rice cookie Von gave to me and Krist that Friday impromptu dinner. Damn~it's nice!

So tomorrow, Jason and I are going to Rodanthe. It's gonna be romantic and with Richard Gere, anything goes.

XOXO,
Ling
